Background coloring with Copic markers
Happy Thursday to everyone. Only 1 more day until summer vacation for the kids. I’m happy I won’t have to be driving every single day of the week, but I’m going to miss my days of peace and quiet and doing what I want! And hallelujah after 20 years of enduring the elementary school scene, the last kid is finally on her way to Middle School! Way back, I used to be one of the youngest moms in the school, and now I’m officially one of the oldest:)
Now onto the real reason for today’s post which isn’t to let y’all know how old I am… We had a fantastic class last week where we explored creating various backgrounds with alcohol inks, airbrushing and different textures. All the participants did an amazing job and created some cool looking pieces, and of course, no two works looked alike. I spotted one student using a wonderful color combination for her background and thought dang, I’ve gotta try that one, so thank you to Michele for the color combo on this background!
The background was done with a variety of alcohol inks and colorless blender.
And to the person who received this card…A big happy birthday and here’s to many many more happy ones!
Thanks for stopping by today and hope your upcoming weekend is wonderful.
