All about Color Blobs
Color Blobs took over my craft space! It’s time for another amazing challenge at Stampotique and this time the theme is Color Blobs. I’ve been on quite a few design teams over the years, and I have to say this is probably one of the most fun themes I’ve played with. Kudos to Arwen McCullen for a unique and fun theme.
I think I fell in love with this monster, Little Hoo-Hoo, as soon as I saw him!! Too much fun to color and play with. To create my blobs of color, I masked the stamped image and then I used peacock feathers, squeezed lemonade and mustard seed distress inks and spritzed with water which created the background colors. To create the splats of color, I used the paint daubers (mermaid Lagoon, Squeezed Lemonade and Picket Fence), squeezed paint onto the craft mat, spritzed with water to thin and then put the dauber back in the thinned paint and splatted on the paper. Easy peasy
Here’s the inside of the card. I stamped the image again, but this time I used the Ombre inks from Hero Arts for a different kind of look.
That’s it for me folks. I hope you have an awesome rest of your week.
