Copic Markers and the Frog Princess

Hello everyone!  Hope your week has been off to a good start.

Copic markers were on tap today. I finally got to play with some new digi stamps, well I purchased them about a month ago if that counts as new, from Bloobel.  I love quirky and fun and such a welcome relief from the world of “cute”.  And I pulled out one of my So Suzy Stamps sentiment which these stamps are right up my personality alley which is all snark and fun with just a drop of bitchy…well my former mother in law may say a bucket full, but I’m sticking with a drop!

This fantastic digi is called Frog Princess

She’s been all dolled up with some Copics.  Some portions of the image are quite thin and difficult to get the nib of the marker in without making a mess, so I pulled out the Copic Atyou spica pens in those areas. For these small areas, I like to use any type of marker with a hard thin point…and I don’t worry at all about trying to my shading perfectly…no need for an unnecessary headache.

I have to work on staying focused when I’m coloring instead of trying to hear what is on the TV!  Blow these pictures up and voila, you can see every spot where the marker goes outside the lines.  Oh well, it was still fun and I have never strive for perfection…just fun.

Thanks for swinging by for a visit today!
