Distress Crayons, Deli Paper and scroll down for a video
Let’s pull out those distress crayons and get busy. Good morning everyone! I was reminded last week or the week before about a card I had made in one my classes several years ago. Took me a moment to remember which card and then the technique. But lo and behold my senior blonde moment passed, and I remembered. A friend who is way more experienced in crafting than me, Kathleen, actually showed me this easy and fun technique.
The Dizzy Butterfly die from Memory Box was cut from Deli paper which had been colored up with Distress Crayons (mermaid lagoon, mustard seed and peacock feathers). Distress Inks (direct to paper) works beautifully too. The background of the card was done with Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade.
Exact same techniques but using different color combinations…seedless preserve, festive berries, mermaid lagoon.
And here is the video to get y’all started. Thanks for popping in for a visit!!
