Ranger distress stains and watercoloring with video tutorial
Pull out those Ranger distress stains and let’s get busy
Hello everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. We had a wonderful intro to watercoloring class last week and the students did an amazing job learning the basics of watercoloring and apply all of their knowledge. I think I’ll have to plan on another class to show even more techniques. And to those in class, I promise I’ll get the videos up within the next couple of weeks:)
In the meantime, I had played around with watercoloring with distress stains. I mean how easy to do some washes when the medium is already premixed, and I don’t have to worry about whether I have enough to cover the space I’m coloring!
Easy peasy though not necessarily a quick process. All of the colors are distress stain and one dylusion spray ink.
I also did an inlaid die cut using 2 sided adhesive foam.
And to make life even easier for all of you, I’ve done a video to show you how to do both the watercoloring with distress stains and inlaid die cutting.
