Summer scene coloring
Good morning and happy Friday to everyone! I’m popping in for a quick post before I’m off to get everything around the house which has been neglected for too long.
Last night I had planned on sorting and cleaning up my craft room. But of course I got distracted as I was putting things away. I played with some frisket then ooooh I guess now that it’s dry I can play with some of the watercolors oh and look squirrel…let’s color with Copics. I managed to sit still long enough to get this sweetie colored up and onto a card (and no my work area is still a mess).
This little sweetie is called Shucks and is from the uber talented Mo Manning. The sweet corn was just screaming summer to me so I went with the USA colors! The papers are from Doodlebug and the die cut is from Memory Box.
Isn’t she just the cutest darn thing?! She’s been colored up with alcohol markers and touched up with some colored pencils. I think I grabbed the sentiments from a Flourishes set but can’t be a 100% certain.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your weekend is fabulous!
