Poppies with Zig Markers
Poppies with zig markers are on tap today. The last month or so I’ve been playing around with the Zig Clean color markers, and I’m definitely loving them. They are easy to use, the blending is wonderful and oh so versatile in obtaining different watercolor looks on my projects.
This is one of the project I completed a few weeks back and forgot I had the pictures on my computer ready to go! Summer break with these kids home every day is really sucking what little functioning brain power I have left out of me:)
This gorgeous stamp from Penny Black called Pop Pop Poppy was what I used for this design. I love this style of stamp from PB as they are very versatile especially when you change up the color of the ink you’re stamping with. I posted on the Gentle Whisper stamp using Copics to obtain a painted look and this time I used my Zip Clean color markers. The flowers were done without adding any water and just blending the different colors together.
The background was completed by adding water for a thinner traditional watercolor appearance. And for all of those wonderful local students, you can probably guess what might be included in the new upcoming schedule:)! Think technique class!!
I’ll see everyone back here soon. Have a great rest of your day
