Monochromatic coloring Purples
Pull out your copic RVs and get busy with Monochromatic coloring purples! I hope you’ve been enjoying your weekend. As you can see I’m rocking the Saturday night with crafting and blogging instead of out on the town:) The last couple of days I had some awesome classes with amazing students. A big shout out today’s Clean and Simple card class and the wonderful work they completed and the knowledge they hopefully gained!
Yesterday night, I taught a Copics class were we focused on working with the RV color family so the students could gain more confidence with this group and to see how to create a myriad of different colors all within the same family. They did a wonderful job experimenting with colors as well as previously taught techniques to see what personally unique color palettes they could create.
This Happy Cupcake from Whimsy Stamps was colored using the RV color family (minus the YGs in the arms and legs). There are a lot of tricky markers in this group but with a little work all of the colors you can create are worth it. I used the die cut word Sweet also from Whimsy. I cut it out twice and to create the shadow effect.
To enhance the highlights, I used white colored pencil.
Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you’re rocking your Saturday as well!
