MINC Creativity in full swing
We had a great time in last night’s MINC creativity craft class! It was nice to see so many people finally using their MINC machines which they purchased over a year ago. The dust was blown off and the cobwebs decimated and lots of play time happened.
After turning on the machines, smelling the new oil burn off, popping a fuse once or twice, everyone was ready to explore all the different ways to create foil in their crafting creations. We explored the basics of foil directly to the laser printed paper, premade 6×6 laser printed paper from Heidi Swapp using both the negative and positive aspects. Next up was the different reactive mediums available. The reactive mist, paint and texture medium made for some amazing and unique creations. I had a great time watching the aha moments and hope everyone was inspired to continue using the fantastic MINC machines.
Now for the pictures!
Really Selena didn’t create this mess all by herself! But I loved how her positive and negative combination turned out.
Colleen is definitely focused on the next project while the current one is running through the machine. And look at all of the creativity occurring on everyone’s table noted by the papers, stencils, foils and transfer sheets!
And last but of course not the least, Sharla and Lori working hard and having fun in tonight’s class. Some day we will figure out how all those glitter sheets are to be used!
A big thank you to everyone for a great class! I’ll definitely see some of you back at it this morning for another fun technique based class. Don’t forget to bring your tweezers. To check out what classes are on tap for the rest of this month, check out my Class Calendar
