Art Class with Clean Color Markers
We had a fun art class which involved coloring and card making class last week and pulled out our Zig Real Brush watercolor markers to make 3 fun cards. Everyone had a chance to put into their work the techniques learned in the Zig Techniques class for a finished image!
Hello everyone! I hope your Wednesday is off to a great start. Beautiful Spring weather here in Colorado with just a bit of green beginning to poke through the ground and pop out on the trees. Of course, as soon as I type how wonderful it is, tomorrow’s forecast will call for a foot of snow with blizzard like conditions:) But in the meantime I’m going to enjoy the gorgeousness we have.
This is a Penny Black stamp that I stamped with Distress Ink (tumbled glass). I used the palest blue ink so I could see the lines of the stamp but the ink would be come apart of the underpinning of the coloring and the end result looks like no line coloring. A few different techniques were used for the petals and leaves.
I stamped this image with Distress ink (dried marigold) for the same effect as the first card and again mixed up the techniques throughout the image. I also used some thinned down white paint for the splatters.
That’s it for me today! Have a wonderful rest of your day.
