Chickadee in the Winter
This chickadee is definitely ready for the upcoming winter season.
I hope everyone had a fabulous Halloween and now onward ho to Thanksgiving and then Christmas and then New Year’s…time is going by a little fast!
This week I managed to get the windshields replaced on both vehicles, the carpet cleaners in and windows washed. I love a sparkling clean house even if it only lasts for a few days. Just in time of course for the rocks from the snowplows to crack the windshields, the dragging in of dirty snow onto the carpets and the snow storms to dirty up the windows. Don’t we all just love cleaning. But for the moment, I’m going to revel in fact that my house is clean and I can see out my windshields!
Chickadee and warm wishes
And why I paid everyone to essentially clean for me.. I was downstairs playing with Copics and colored pencils. This sweet as can be chickadee is a digital stamp from Power Poppy Stamps called Chickadee in Barberry. Doesn’t it just make for the perfect winter/Christmas card?
Close up of Chickadee
Image primarily colored with Copic markers but I used some colored pencils in the areas where deeper shadows were need or my paper couldn’t take more ink or area was too small for the tip of the Copic marker.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit today! I hope your week is amazing, and you find time to get inky and craft!
