Zig clean color markers make watercoloring a breeze! Let’s get out the Zig clean color markers and get busy creating watercolor panels for today’s cards.
Happy Halloween to all who celebrate! The neighborhood kids are so excited to go out and about collecting their free candy. I’m just happy I have a high schooler and a middle schooler to hand out the candy so I don’t have to get up every 30 seconds!!
Of course since it is a holiday, I’m posting a card that has nothing to do with said holiday!
Zig First stamping pass
It’s no secret I love these style of stamps from Penny Black! They are so perfect for making me look like I know how to draw and watercolor beautifully:)!! This stamp is called Light Touch. Color Zig clean color markers color directly onto the stamp, spritz with some water, stamp and voila…a fast and beautiful card. Copic markers adds a little depth onto the stems, and are alcohol based. I don’t worry about Copics reactivating the Zig clean color markers because they are water based.
Plenty of ink is left over after the first stamping pass, so the second pass (second generation stamping) is ready to go. Three or more passes are doable depending on the amount of ink originally put on the stamp. Go for as many as you can get out of the ink!
Zig 2nd generation stamping
Look at how different the colors are for the second generation stamping with the Zig markers. Try for a 3rd pass with your card and see what it looks like!
